here are some pictures from our summer so far...we have stayed home all of July and it has been nice and relaxing. trying to enjoy it now because the next few months have some traveling and fun too! We have a few more things on our bucket list to do..good thing summer isn't over!
I took R to her first "gymnastics class" It is a mommy and me class at a gym near our house! R LOVED it! They played songs and she danced and she of course loved watching all the other kids! She jumped on the trampoline, walked on the balance beam (with my help) went through some tunnels, hung on the high beams, & did some summer salts! She did great!
she got a stamp for a great job!
Aunt H got R her own kiddie pool for her birthday so we got that out along with some pool toys she also got on her birthday!
I set up this little area for her to play..we don't have much shade in the backyard so this helped make playtime a little "cooler"
she also got a water table from aunt H for her bday and she loves it! she likes to splash the water!
popsicles on a hot day are a must

we went on a mommy/daughter date to get some fro-yo! it was soo good and just the thing we needed to cool off! It's too hot out for this pregnant mama!
on one of daddy's days off we went to a splash fountain downtown. R was not a huge fan of getting wet..she doesn't like to get splashed! but she liked watching the water and also the other kids playing in the water!
then we went to the park to swing
some days it's just way too hot outside to play so we have found other things to do inside that are fun! We went to the mall to play in their play place. R LOVED this so much..she ran around with all the kids, screaming and laughing. she went through the tunnel a few times all by herself and went down the slide alot.

she kept randomly going up to this duck and kissing his beak..it was adorable!
we did a little walking around the mall (notice her purse) I let her lead the way and I follow with the stroller. She loves it..she doesn't ever go in any stores..just walks and walks and waves at everyone!

her masterpiece! She enjoyed this for about 10 minutes and was done..I guess it wasn't messy enough being in a bag! easy clean up for mommy though!
we had some really cool weather a couple days ago and we had to take advantage of being outside. It was absolutely gorgeous out! We played at the park, walked and went and saw the ducks!
she went down the slide herself (me at the top and bottom to catch) but this was the first time she went down and no one was holding her..she loved it! did it over and over!
this is a fun face!
we went walking down to the pond to see the ducks. As soon as we came over the hill and R saw the water and ducks she screamed "O WOW" it made me laugh so hard! she was so excited!
