7 months

baby girl is 7 months old!!! she's getting so big and strong!! she is developing quite a personality and learning new noises she can make! she's such a funny baby! We had quite a busy month..but FUN!

7 months old

weight: 17 lbs, 3 oz

clothes: 6-9 months

diaper size: size 3

eating: nursing 5-6 times a day. (still breastfeeding!!!) Rice cereal or oatmeal in the morning. fruit baby food at lunch and meat or veggie baby food at dinner and then oatmeal before bed. 

new baby foods: tried meat baby food and loves it..pretty much loves all baby food! even prunes!

has tried: turkey, chicken and beef and mac and cheese! (daddy's pick)

LOVES blueberries and pears

tried adding formula to her oatmeal so I can stop pumping (I HATE IT) but she HATED it..she gagged! even tried giving it to her mixed with a flavored oatmeal..still hated it..she's a smart girl!

 Sleep: 9-10 hours at night, takes 2 naps that last from 1.5 hrs-2.5 hrs.

bedtime: between 8-9 pm

She has rolled over from back to tummy..just not at night. Will sometimes sleep on her side at night.

She LOVES paper or anything that crinkles! Thinks it's so fun!

LOVES the iphone..and remotes!

grabs everything..(I had a bad mommy moment the other day..we were at hobby lobby and I wasn't paying attention and she grabbed a mug and it fell and shattered! I felt horrible..the employees were so nice and wouldn't let me clean it up or pay for it! opps..mommy needs to pay attention more!)

sleeps with no more swaddle!

makes so many funny noises to communicate..she quacks like a ducky and her new noise we call the T-rex noise..because out of nowhere she will SCREAM! haha sounds like a dinosaur!

she also purses her lips together and makes a "bbbbwwwwrrrr" sound! or a noise in the back of her throat that sounds like "crrrrrrrrr"

she is getting so strong..sitting up by herself..and does great with tummy time..she is also pulling herself up to her knees!

still no teeth but teething seems to be better! we tried our mesh thing..you put frozen food in it so she can suck on it and it helps with teething..we did bananas..she liked it!

still takes baths every other day..this time she has graduated out of her baby tub into the kitchen sink!

~first trip to visit gma and gpa in Florida

we had a fun trip to visit lots of friends and family in GA..and also went to florida again for some beach fun and to visit gma and gpa! in fact..this whole month..we were pretty much gone..from home. she did AMAZING with traveling!!

 

loving every second with this cutie pie!! she's amazing!! I'm sooo thankful I am able to be home with her everyday!!

the start of a fun vacation

R and I had plans to come to GA one weekend for our annual girls BYOP party! but it quickly turned into a 3 week visit and adventure to 2 states!! We had a blast but are happy to be home!

This was the longest I think I have been away from ry our whole entire relationship..and of course a long time for R to be away from daddy! We missed him and Shi so much but we face timed everyday! We had such a great visit with sooo many family and friends!! I'm glad we were able to fit most people in..but of course wish we could have seen more or had more time with those we did see!!

 

we started the vacay out at pops and sasa's house..Ry came with us (shi too) because he had the weekend off..so we spent the weekend visiting and celebrating Ry's birthday with his family!

Shi LOOOOVES going to visit pops and sasa!! well first off..she loves getting to go bye bye in the car..but she loves to play with buster (their dog) and her grandparents SPOIL her!!! soooo much that she doesn't even eat her dog food while she's there! haha

they also have doggie doors..so she can go in and out of the house as much as she pleases..which she loves!
