Friday we had CHRISTMAS with Heidi and Matt! Ry made a gluten-free dinner and we opened presents and played Taboo! It was soooo fun!!!

Me and Ry had alot of fun decorating our first christmas tree! We went to walmart and picked out light blue and silver ornamets to deck our tree with.

ry putting the lights on..the part I hate doing-once we get a house..we will prob invest in a pre-lit tree..totally worth the money haha

tortilla soup

I made a new recipe right after thanksgiving and thought I would share it with you because it was sooo YUMMY!

I made TURKEY TORTILLA SOUP! with our leftover turkey from Thanksgiving! 

you will need:

Tortilla chips

1 cup of red or green salsa ( i used red)

2-14 oz cans of reduced sodium chicken broth

2 cups of cubed cooked turkey

1 large zucchini

lime wedges (optional)

sour cream and cilantro (optional)

shredded cheese

In a large saucepan, combine salsa and chicken broth, bring to boiling over medium-high heat. add turkey and zucchini; heat through. Serve in bowls topped with tortilla chips, cheese, lime wedges, and cilantro. make 4 servings.

It was soooo GOOD! I invited barron over for dinner and the boys LOVED it...we are gonna try it again with chicken! yum!

I HATE winter!

Winter is my least favorite time of the year!

I hate it..esp here in GA..we never get any pretty snow..its just COLD!

I also hate what winter brings...staticy hair, short days, COLD nights, burning my tongue on soup, having to leave earlier to sit in my car and let it warm up before I leave, really dry skin, itchy sweaters, bulky coats and COLD contacts in the morning...uh..I can't wait for SPRING already!

I know winter comes with some good things..cute scarfs and hats, yummy soup when you don't burn your tongue, CHRISTMAS, a new year, but I don't care..I want WARM..or SNOW..I don't like this cold with no snow.

ok.done with my little winter rant..is it SPRING YET?!

Here are some of my favorites from my baby session over thanksgiving break! This is baby Hallie Cate..a friend of Esther's baby..she was sooo sweet..and a perfect little model..I think they turned out great!

and these are pictures from our friends Jeremy and Mercedes engagement pictures I did a few weeks back. Me and Ry went to college with them and Ry actually worked with both of them. They are getting married next July..on the beach..im excited..and Ry is the BEST MAN! yay!
