mini vacay

Me and Ry had a wonderful LONG weekend! We had a little mini vacay to visit his mom, sister and brother in law at their home in TN! We had a very nice visit, filled with lots of laughs and fun!

Ry's mom and sister came with us to REGISTER!!! at our first store, bed bath and beyond!

Holy cow it was sooo fun to scan all the stuff we wanted!!!

Ry is the kitchen man..So I let him pick out all the kitchen gadgets.which he LOVED..and he let me pick out all the baking stuff which is my forte:o)

We did a great job of picking out a new bedset and bathroom sets!

it got kinda overwelming at the end...just cause it took 3 hours!! but it was still sooo fun! we can't wait to register at another store!

We are officially registered!!!

After registering, we went home and Sara had ordered Portillos (an amazingly yummy chicago restaurant) so we started cooking yummy chicago italian beef sandwiches and hotdogs..it was soooo good!

we laugh because Sara is married to John who is from Chicago and Ry is marrying me and I am also from Chicago! Those Andersons love us Chicagoians!:-) haha

We had ALOT of fun and it was a great visit! we played Just Dance and Apples to Apples and ate alot!

It was nice to get away but I missed my Shiloh so bad! She was in good hands though with her auntie korby and uncle barron!

I found this hat yesterday at the store and in the words of Victoria Beckham..this hat is "MAJOR!!!"

I want it..I need it..I would have bought it if it wasn't $70! yikes..I'm totally gonna get a coupon and go back and buy this hat though!

why don't people in America wear hats more like they do in England? I would totally wear a hat like this everyday if I could! I LOVE them!!

I'm getting super excited for the ROYAL WEDDING coming up!! 

Price William's Bride to Be Kate..is sooo pretty! She reminds me alot of my idol Princess Diana..

I really enjoyed the exhibit I saw in England about the queens hats..she has MILLIONS!

and as much as I loved looking at Diana's dresses..I enjoyed the hats she wore the most!

I need an occasion to wear this hat...

maybe a tea party!

maybe I'll throw a royal wedding party and we can watch the wedding in April..

or maybe I'll just buy the hat and wear it by myself for no reason..haha..don't think I'm a loser..

SPRING HAS SPRUNG!

SPRING has officially SPRUNG in GEORGIA!! know how I know? no it's not the warm high 60 degree weather we have been having-the weather is RANDOM in GA..no it's not the easter candy stocked on the shelves in stores..(they stock that stuff after christmas)..I know..becuase I got in my car yesterday to run errands..and guess what was on my windshield? POLLEN! the really annoying yellow stuff has started to coat the cars..JOY!

o well-im EXCITED for SPRING!

I got ALOT done this weekend...well sunday..I started our SPRING CLEANING! our apartment needed it..I scrubbed and wiped and washed..our apartment is SPARKELING! I feel so much better! 

Some would say I'm sort of a CLEAN FREAK...I like things organized and done a certain way..I feel soo much better about life when things are put where they belong or everything is organized and non cluttered..

I can officially check it off my list which makes me feel much accomplished!

How was your Valentines Day?

Mine was PERFECT! I woke up in a great mood and went to work..the weather was PERFECT out..high 60s and it was just a great day!

Then I came home to THIS:

Ry took me out to dinner for SUSHI (yum) and it was sooooo good..Ry dosen't like sushi but he got cooked sushi that he really liked! it was really good--i tried it! The restaurant was so cute and had FRANK SINATRA music playing..I was in heaven..i love franky.

then after dinner..ry rented this movie for us to watch: 

I've really been wanting to see this movie-it's about how facebook was created..SUCH A GREAT MOVIE! I LOVED IT!! It actually made me miss college! I remember when facebook first came out-I was living in the university suites my sophmore year..

Facebook has become sooo popular..I can't imagine life without it anymore..it's so easy to connect with people you don't talk to on a daily basis and keep up with all your friend's lives..I love it because I have friends and family..all over..not just GA so I stay in touch...and everyone knows how much I like to stay in touch! Anyway-it was a great movie-rent it or buy it! totally worth it! and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is in it! another good thing about this movie! haha

This valentines day was the best yet..my fiance spoils me...I love him! I got him a cute card, the first season of Archer and marshmellow chocolate heart candy. He LOVED it all!

This was our 6th valentines day..our first ENGAGED valentines day and next year will be our FIRST MARRIED valentines day! yay!

How was your weekend?

Mine was fun and BUSY!

Friday nite after work..me and korby went on a date and saw this movie..

it was SUPER cute and so funny! I loved it!

Saturday morning..my sweet MOH Heidi went with me to our wedding site and helped me set up our centerpieces to make sure we like them before we start sewing the table runners..I LOVED them!!

There is about 4 different sized tables..this is one..

and I bought these to go on the high top tables..aren't they soo pretty?! 

I was SUPER excited because after we set up our stuff and took measurements and pics..we went to hobby lobby to buy the rest of the things I needed and EVERYTHING I needed was 50% off! SCORE!! I love a deal! Heidi is my good luck charm:-)

Sat afternoon-amanda and joseph came over to play-he is my little ringbearer! I can't belive how big he is getting soooo fast! last time they came over..he was crawling..this time he was walking..and all over the place! He is so cute though...he already has his own baby language and he loved Shiloh! we played on the playground and me and his mommy caught up with each other and had a nice visit.

Sunday-me, alicia and korby went out and about doing TOP SECRET shower planning for Erin's shower..I can't wait to have this..it's going to be soo much fun!!

A friend filled weekend

 I got the game BUNCO in my stocking for Christmas so I decided to plan a GIRLS BUNCO NITE! It was alot of fun! I even made BUNCO cupcakes..(thanks for the idea mom) that looked like PINK DICE!

they were sooo yummy! We also had Skinny Girl Margaritas and PomTinis (pomegrante martinis) 

the game was interesting..haha..we decided to make up our own rules and had more fun with those!  

the object of the game is to get to 21! thats a bunco..and you do that by rolling the dice and trying to roll certain numbers..then you ring the bell..

after bunco we played apples to apples (LOVE IT) and did some Wii Just Dance..

it was a fun nite filled with cupcakes, cocktails, games and FRIENDS!

Sunday-Mr&Mrs Gantt invited us over to a superbowl party!

I ate myself sick..holy cow there was a ton of food..but it was very yummy! we had a great visit and I enjoyed watching the game-Packers won which made my dad, brother and ry's good friend Rog very happy! I was pretty dissapointed in the commercials though..they don't seem to be as good as they used to..sad..
