Weekend update

I had a fun weekend! Ry is in AL working and I miss him terribly..good thing I have this sweet baby to keep me company..

friday night me and shi went on a date! she got to go bye bye in the car..which she loves..

saturday I ran some errands and got together with M for lunch! It was a nice visit! I'm gonna miss her too much when we move!

satruday night I went with A to Archivers for our monthly scrap night! I got ALOT done with our honeymoon book! I am almost done..just a few pages left..

Ry is getting alot done in AL..preparing for one of the new stores to open! He seems to really like it and be having fun! I'm so proud of him and he is working so hard to provide for our family! I miss him so much but in two weeks we will make our big move and be there with him..

FUN WEEKEND!

We had a great BUSY weekend!!! Filled with FRIENDS and FUN!!!
Friday night we got together with H & M for dinner and dessert! M's bday is this week but Ry won't be here so we got together with them early. If you know M..you know he's a really BIG KID at heart! haha we love him though! we got him some fun gifts that he loved!! including a batman mask on the giftbag!

saturday shi baby had to go to the vet for her yearly checkup..she was such a good girl! she got 3 shots and got blood taken..shes so brave..

she doesn't look it in this pic though..she was nervous.HA 

Later on saturday we went to a good friend of our's wedding! N is one of Ry's friends since middle school and they were roomates all through college! It was a beautiful winter wedding 

they had a yummy candy bar like us!!!

then sunday..I went to gma and gpas for a lunch and nice visit!

afterwards me and ry met up with K and B for a yummy dinner at marietta diner! O so yummy!

Great weekend! sad its over! and so fast! time flies when you have fun!!

this week is busy..work and ry leaves for AL to start his new position! I'm so anxious and proud of him! and I am going to miss him until me and shi baby join him later!

Weekend Update

I got a iphone for christmas and I'm a bit addicted..ry says I need to go to iphone rehab!haha I downloaded this new app...where I can share fun pictures and see others fun pictures too...I subscribed to alot of celebrities personal accounts and its cool to see all their pictures too! Dad came to visit this weekend and when I picked him up from the airport..he suggested we go to this little shack of a place for BBQ! YUMMY! usually places in the middle of now where has the BEST food!

then for dinner we got sushi!! me and dad have been planning a sushi trip together for a while and we were so glad we finally got to do it! again..YUMMY!

as some of you know..I attempted to make cake pops for the first time at halloween and it was a DISASTER! I vowed never to make them again! haha..but I got some books for christmas and found out just what I did wrong..so I tried again..

It was a great weekend..lots of cuddles with my pup and a great visit with dad!

Our Big News

It is OFFICIAL! My amazing husband has recieved a promotion at work and we are moving to Alabama! We are very excited about this next chapter of our lives. This is very big for his career and this move will get him the position he wants faster. We went there last week to scope out the area and find a place to live! After looking at MANY places we finally found our home. We are very excited! Pictures and details to come later! Ry will be starting later this month and me and the pup will move sometime in February. The next few weeks are going to be quite hectic and crazy so please pray I get through it! haha
I have many emotions right now..mostly excited but I can't help but be nervous! last week was the FIRST time we have been to the area so you cant help but be nervous moving to an area you aren't familiar with. I'm sad because we are leaving some really wonderful friends and family..BUT the good news is..it's only a 3 hour drive! thats like a weekend trip! This is going to be exciting and I'm happy to be doing this with my husband and pup! Wish us luck!

Last night we got together with some of our closest friends for a "last" get together. Because Ry is leaving in a couple weeks to start his new position and since he had vacation this week-it was a perfect time to get together with friends. Everyone is sooo supportive and excited for us which makes it so much easier! I made everyone promise they would come visit! We had a WONDERFUL night with everyone! It was great to catch up and visit and eat a yummy meal! Our friend R who moved away showed up which was such a great surprise! I'm going to miss the friends we have made here but I know our friendships will only get stronger..these people aren't going anywhere! FRIENDS FOR LIFE!

A great start to the New Year!

Yesterday I planned a fun GIRLS nite! I planned a trip with friends to go ice skating at Piedmont Park and dinner/dessert at Cafe Intermezzo afterwards! (one of our favorite places to go) It was a blast! It was so much fun to get together with some of my best friends and catch up! We ice skated on the rink..and NO ONE FELL! yay! It was a great start to the new year! LOVE MY FRIENDS!!

Happy 2012

Officially started this blog 2 years ago! Here is my FIRST ever post! I am so glad I started this too! It's a great way to keep up with things and to communicate with friends and family far away. I love looking back at past posts. So much is soooo different in the 2 years I have done this! I'm so glad I was able to blog and mark the memories. I want to make these into a book, that would be cool! AND I blogged more than the year before which was my goal-my goal is to blog even more this year!

We had a great new years eve. Aside from other new years eves when we get dressed up and go to parties or get together with friends me and ry decided to make this a quiet one. and it was awesome! As much as fun as we had at our parties in college, this was just perfect. We were gonna go to the melting pot but when I called to make reservations-they were crazy expensive and had a fixed menu for the day we didn't care for. so we decided to do our own "melting pot" with our new fondue set (a gift from the wedding)
we went to one of our favorite restaurants and ate a yummy meal. and then came back and did our own fondue for dessert! it was YUMMY!!!! and we had LEFTOVERS!!! yay! doing it again tomorrow night for dessert! haha

Ry had to then go to bed early because unfortunetly he had to work today..so it was just me and the pup..

we watched the ball drop and I gave her a midnight kiss..and then we went to bed.
