A fun day at the park

We met our friends C and E at the park for a picnic and play date! The weather is starting to get cool so we wanted to take advantage! The girls played and us mommys talked! So thankful for this new friend..we have so much in common. She is also from GA and her baby is exactly one year apart from R..by like 2 days! R loved E and tried to share her lunch with her..played with her toys and tried to pick her up! 

We also swung on the swings which is bugs new favorite thing! It was really fun! 

Right as we were leaving though..bug stepped in an ant hill and got bitten up so bad! I felt horrible!! She was a trooper though..she started to whine and I noticed her shoe was off and then noticed the ants and started stripping her down! I got them all off but they bit her legs up pretty bad! We stopped at the store and I got her some cream and the sweet girls at the pharmacy gave her a sucker!

Storytime fun

We went to storytime last Friday and had so much fun! The group is going through the alphabet right now and this storytime was F is for fall! They read 3 books, we did a fun craft and ate a cute snack! Bug had so much fun! She loves watching all the other kids! She sat through all 3 books and even the craft! She has never been into the crafts until now! We made a cute leaf guy and she really enjoyed the acorn snack! 

Happy 3 years

Ry and I celebrated 3 years of marriage while at the beach. our first anniversary was spent at this same place, I was pregnant with R, our second anniversary, same place..we brought R for her first beach trip and our third we brought R back and I am pregnant with our second baby! Can't wait to make more memories with him at the beach! 

we spent the day at the pool and enjoyed family time! The J's watched R for us and we went out to eat at one of our favorite restaurants! It was sooo nice to eat out with no kid..I could eat slowly and take my time and didn't have to worry about someone spilling food on me or trying to color on me! Ry and I really enjoyed our time together..I'm sure these times will be few and far between once our second baby arrives!

so happy to be married to this man for 3 years...It definitely feels way longer with all that we have accomplished and done in these 3 years! Time flies when you're having fun!!

beach trip part 4

one morning right after she woke up..sleepy eyes 

we went down to the beach one day and just set up an umbrella! We took bug in the ocean (all the way) for the first time and she loved it! She was a little nervous at first but when we were fully in and the waves made a fun "ride" she laughed and screamed..I think she really enjoyed it! The water was perfect..warm and crystal clear. you could see the bottom (one of the reasons we went in)

beach trip part 3

R and I were usually the first to wake up most mornings..we would go and take some morning walks while everyone slept in! we had some really fun, memorable moments!

one morning we walked to the pier and I took some pics of her on my nice camera in one of her cute outfits..I got this cute sailor outfit on consignment!

along our walk..we saw a sea turtle nest, a seagull and her 10 baby seagulls and a rainbow over the ocean! it was such a beautiful morning!

another morning..we walked down by the edge of the water and ate some donuts for breakfast. we watched the water and birds and R waved at all the people passing by on their morning walks.

we also played a little in the sand..listening to the ocean waves

then the birds showed up for our breakfast..I am not a huge fan of birds and got kinda nervous..I did teach R how to say "go away birds" and she would say "bye bye birds" haha
