Four Months

eating: nursing great.eating every 2-3 hours for no more than 10 minutes at a time, gets hungry every hour in evening before bed. started adding cereal to bottle (he did not like cereal or oatmeal on a spoon-same thing as in the bottle silly boy)

sleep: this has been a frustrating topic lately. He is still waking up every 2-3 hours at night. I have tried everything (swaddling, keeping him awake during the day, adding cereal to bottle. We think maybe he is still adjusting to the new schedule but mama is tired. He wants to fall asleep between 6-7 pm and will sleep for 4 hours then will be up every 2-3 hours after. we may be going into the big crib soon and hoping this will help. Going to be asking pediatrician what to do at our next appointment.

when he wakes up at night he keeps his eyes closed and eats for 10 minutes then goes right back to sleep and if he does wake up he can pretty much fall back asleep on his own..sometimes he needs a little rock.  

We are quickly finding out that this boy is SO SO happy or SO SO angry..there is no in between with him. He wakes up at 6 am on the dot so so happy with lots of smiles.
some evenings have been rough...goes through crying spells that need gripe water (maybe once every 1-2 weeks so getting a little better)

but sometimes the gripe water does not work and he just wants to cry. These tummy aches are no fun at all.  Still LOVES diaper changes..loves to be clean like his mama.

Such a mama's boy!!! prefers me to hold him but will let others. Smiles at strangers. 

so ticklish especially under chin and armpits-he has not quite figured out how to laugh though so he just makes funny noises. 

If this boy is not eating or sleeping, he is grunting..we call him Mr. Gruntfish (see bubble guppies)

may be teething, lots of drool and always wants to have hands, fist, paci in mouth. loves to chew on my fingers. upgraded to big tub and hated it at first but now starting to love it-peed on mommy during bath. hehe

ADORES his sister!!! he is always watching and smiling at her. always wants to know what she's doing. sometimes she will come up and give a kiss or hug and can accidentally be to rough and he NEVER cries. He loves her so much, you can see it in his eyes. so sweet.

starting to sit up on own but very wobbly..tried out sisters bumbo chair , also loves to stand holding mommy's hands..he pushes chest out like hes a big boy!

loves to be held and walked around..not a fan of when you sit down and hold him. haha

FIRST move...funny how his sister was the same exact age when she had her first move. 

First time out of state was move to AL...did great..slept and nursed while movers packed truck and slept the whole way there (2 hours)

first trip to park with mommy, sister and grandma K..liked swinging while in mommy's lap.

loves to talk, grunt, smile and sing..overall a happy baby but when upset..hes UPSET! poor thing!

hoping we can get this sleeping thing at night under control soon!
