caramel apples, pumpkins & friends!

I had a great weekend! and to top it off it was a 3-day weekend! Justin flew into Atlanta from Chicago on thursday night so I took friday off to spend time with him..and luckily Ry was off too! It was a very fun day! Friday morning I woke up and made the boys breakfast..yum! Then we went and saw the movie Jackass in 3D..it was pretty funny. After that, we went go-karting which was soooo fun!

after go karting-justin met up with friends and me and Ry went out to eat at Olde Towne..man it was sooo yummy! then I met korby and alicia in Marietta for a ghost tour! it was really cool because we went on a trolley through town..but the stories weren't as cool as the tour we did in Savannah! we had fun though..and they made us walk through a cemetary..at nite..with a full moon...ahhhhh...

Saturday was my annual BYOP party!! some of the ladies came for the corn maze and then the rest met at my apt for carving pumpkins and caramel apple making! It was sooo fun to get together with all my girls and catch up and hang out..I love all of them! We had such a fun time! Next year we are gonna do the corn maze at night..yikes!

rough week-fun weekend

so aside from Ry's birthday, last week was a rough one..
Ry had a great birthday! He had to work on the actual day and while he was at work..look that Shiloh did!

how did she do this without thumbs?! I do not know! Isn't she a sweet puppy? 

That nite I made Ry his favorite dinner and we had coconut cake for dessert-his favorite! He got alot of cards in the mail and man did he rack up the movies!! Some of these were gifts and some he bought with his birthday money!

the boy LOVES movies!! and he has ALOT of movie watching to do!

this week was a pretty rough one for me...I had to have some "minor" surgery on tuesday. I went to the dermatologist a couple weeks ago and he removed 2 moles he thought looked a little darker than normal..and then they called me back to tell me that the mole on my back came back with "abnormal cells" that could later lead to cancer and that I had to come back in to get more skin removed and get stitches..I was so scared! I've never had stitches..well..the surgery went fine..but it's been a long week..I also had an eye infection and had to wear my glasses all week..

I had just reached my breaking point..I was tired of seeing doctors and tired of my stupid body falling apart..I just want things back to normal..I dont want to have to shower at night anymore so that Ry can change my bandages and I want to wear my contacts again!

and I just wanted my mommy....

and I got her..this weekend! mom came to GA last weekend! She went to a librarian conference in Macon and I met her at her hotel and had a mini visit with her! It was so nice to see her..we went shopping, and out to eat and stayed up late talking..it was fun..it was such a fast visit..cause I went to Macon on saturday and had to take her to the airport on sunday! but all is good because she is coming back for a longer stay in 2 weeks!! I just hope that visit dosen't go by so fast!

Also-my brother is coming tomorrow!! yay! Can't wait to visit with him too! and this weekend is also BYOP party! I'm so excited to see most of my girls! not all of them can come..but it will still be fun!

This week is much better..my back seems to be healing and I can hopefully wear my contacts again tomorrow! FINALLY!

weekend update

how was your weekend? I had a great weekend! It was a "no plan" plan weekend! That means that I had no plans...and that was my plan! haha
Friday when I got off work..I met Korby for some errands! I found shoes on sale at DSW! purple shoes to go under my wedding dress! They are perfect! I also found shoes to wear for the engagement pictures!
Saturday, me, Shiloh and Korby went on a walk to Kennesaw mountain! I'm trying to get Shiloh used to other dogs when she's on the leash because she barks at them and she sounds mean..even though I know she just wants to say hi! The weather was PERFECT out and we had alot of fun, we are thinking of making this a weekend tradition if the weather stays this nice!

afterwards, gma and gpa came over and we all went to waffle house for some FREE breakfast and to see ry:-) He was surprised to see us! G-ma and G-pa really liked Shiloh..how could you not though? She's so sweet! Gma tried to teach her a new trick to keep the treat on her head until we say "ok get it"

Sunday-little baby aubree and her mommy maryanne came over so I could take Aubree's 9 month pictures! This was my first time seeing how Shiloh would be with babies but she did sooooo good! She was sooo sweet with Aubree..gave her kisses and let her climb on her..she loved her..and I think Aubree loved Shiloh! They were so cute together!

Shiloh even brought one of her balls to Aubree and she threw it for her to get! It was so adorable! Aubree's pics turned out great...she was a little ladybug for halloween..once I finish editing I will post them..

The rest of sunday I spent cleaning the apt and doing laundry! Me and Shiloh went on another walk this time around our apt and we found a walking trail! It was like a little adventure seeing where it led to! we had alot of fun! By the time daddy (RY) came home, I was so tired from cleaning and he was so tired from working, neither of us wanted to cook, so he took me on a little date to Texas roadhouse for some steak..it was sooo good..i always overeat when we eat there though! Then after dinner..me and Shiloh showed daddy (ry) our walking trail..I think he had fun! we were a cute little family taking a stroll after dinner! haha

and thats about it! the next few weekends are gonna be really exciting! this weekend I get to see mommy! the weekend after that..I get to see brother and then the weekend after that I get to see mommy again! YAY I can't wait!!

Engagement session

I think they turned out great! They LOVE them! I'm still working on putting the last minute finishing touches on it and uploading..but I'm mostly done!

It was alot of fun..makes me want to quit my job now so bad and do this for a living..but I promised Ry I would wait until after we are married! This weekend I'm taking pictures of sweet Aubree!

Can't wait to do OUR engagement pictures!! 3 more weeks!!!

a sweet surprise

I found this when I woke up this morning! Ry surprised me and bought me this movie!! I was so excited because it has just been released from the Disney vault! Mom and dad have all our Disney movies on VHS..I eventually want all of them on DVD..but it's hard to get them when they are stuck in the stupid vault! I can't wait to watch this when I get home!! YAY!

We are LOVING our time with her! Everyday we learn a little bit about her personality! Me & her go on walks everyday when I get home from work from our apt building to the entrance! She gets so excited when I get home because she knows it's time for a WALK!

We are slowly training her to sleep in her bed..the past few nights..she ends up jumping on our bed to sleep but when me and Ry wake up in the morning..she is in her bed! What a good girl!

Last week-me and Ry took her to Petsmart to get her a ID tag! She LOVES going in the car!

Shiloh also liked the adventure through petsmart! we let her pick out which food bowls she liked and any toys she wanted..but she was more interested in the birds! haha

last weekend was pretty busy...Saturday I headed to Carrollton to help Tim with a wedding..it's wierd to think that the next wedding I'll see him at is MINE!:-)

Sunday I took some engagement pictures..they turned out great-once I finish editing..I'll post them!

After pictures, Erin came to visit and we went to lunch and then met up with Heidi and they got their bridesmaid dresses! yay!! That's 3 bridemaids down-3 more to go! haha

Can't wait! I also re-tried on my wedding dress so erin and heidi could see..and they LOVED it! It made me wish I was getting married tomorrow! haha...there is still so much to do yet!

I'm about to go let Shiloh out and then we are going to bed..tomorrow is HUMP day..gotta make it over the hump and it will be smooth sailing till the weekend! yay!
