bad dog

I have never had a dog that INTENTIONALLY gets into stuff because they are mad or bored. I grew up with boy dogs and they NEVER did that. Well now that we have shi (a girl dog) she does that. no matter how many times we punish her! She knows it's bad (she's already cowering as soon as we walk in the door) but does it anyway to make us mad and let us know..she was mad or bored.

THIS... 

is what she did the other day..

Ry is usually home around 2 or 3 everyday and I get home around 5 or 6 everyday. Well this particular day ry had a meeting that ran late and I beat him home.

She knows its wrong but she was mad at us for leaving her home alone longer than usual!

I don't get the fascination with trash..esp bathroom trash..GROSS that can't taste good!

well this is her punishment! haha

and of course I later forgave her..

you can't stay mad at that sweet face..and we kinda felt bad she was left home longer than normal..

o well..I guess it's better than potty in the house (she only does that with thunderstorms)

o the joys of owning a rescue dog!

wouldn't have it any other way!

Congratulations to one of my best friends on getting engaged!!! Sooo happy & excited for her!!!

another friend visit

last weekend M came to visit!!!! we had a blast!! The whole weekend was filled with pedicures & manicures, cupcakes, yummy eats, shopping, concerts and visiting! I was sad when she left but we will get together again soon!! LOVE her!!!

bestie visit

2 weekends ago the bestie and her fiance came to visit again! we had a great time! They got into town friday and we all went out to eat at MEXICAN!! OLAY!!

Saturday while ry was at work the three of us went and painted pottery! it was super fun!

after it's painted! the lady who worked there said "o thats so cute! do you have a boy and a girl?" and I replied "no it's for me and my husband" haha

after painting, ry met us for dinner! we tried this new restaurant on the river! It was very pretty and really yummy! we will def go back! 

and of course after dinner, you need dessert..we tried a new yogurt place..check out all the YUMMY toppings!! 

It was a great visit! can't wait to see them again!

Throwback Thursday

This was taken in 2003 when my godmother took me on a trip to England after my high school graduation!! It was one of the best trips of my life and I remember every bit of it! I would love to go back again someday!

I changed out the flowers in my planters the other weekend and love how it turned out! The colors go together so pretty and it really brings the front and back of our house to life! What do you think?

I really enjoy gardening and planting flowers! I'm still learing alot about it. I look forward to the day that it comes time for us to own a house so that I can plant flowers in the ground and grow a garden!

fun friend weekend

This weekend K & B came to visit us! We were so happy to have them and we had a great time and visit together! They got here friday night and we woke up saturday and went to a really yummy brunch at a local restaurant..then we showed them around town and went to the movies and out to dinner! It was a great visit and I'm so glad they were able to come see our life in AL! Miss them already!

Officially 27!!

I had a WONDERFUL birthday! Ry surprised me when I woke up with a present! He got me this..

an IPAD!!!!

I was soooooooo excited and sooooo surprised!:-) 

my day was filled with many "happy birthdays!" from family, friends & coworkers! I got lots of calls and messages and sweet cards in the mail! I'm very blessed and felt very loved that day!

After work, ry took me out for a YUMMY dinner! 

and after dinner I came home to a HOMEADE chocolate cake that he made for me from scratch! 

I literally have the BEST husband anyone could ask for! He made my day EXTRA special and I love him sooo much!!

ps. I'm super addicted to my IPAD..I can't put it down!! YAY!
