friends, family and good times

weekend update! are you excited?! haha

Saturday nite was GIRLS nite!!! Saturday during the day heidi, korby and erin came over and we went to the pool..it was very refreshing because it was/is SOOOOO hot!! I esp needed to cool off because our air stopped working friday nite and it was soooo hot in our apartment (they fixed it sat morning! thank god! i love this place) After the pool I met the girls plus Alicia at japanease steakhouse for dinner!

after dinner, the plan was to go play puttputt but since it POURED after the pool..that ruined the plan..

So we decided to go to our favorite dessert place Cafe Intermezzo for some dessert! o boy was it good!! such a nice treat!!

Korby got carrot cake, erin got a peanut butter something cake and me and alicia got BOSCOS! its AMAZING!! it's imported overseas from Italy I think..it's prob the best thing I've ever tasted! I overheard the lady telling someone that it is their most popular dessert! YUM!

Today I met erin and her family/bridesmaids at Davids Bridal to help find her a dress! It was sooo fun! She tried on a few and wouldn't you know, the last one she tried on was THE ONE!! Brought tears to her eyes..which is a SIGN! yay! and since we were already all there we got our bridesmaids dresses! They are super cute! and they were only $100..best price for a bridesmaid dress!

this is the dress we will be wearing! Except there will be a white sash instead of the belt! so pretty and very Tiffany & co like! I'm so excited to wear it in MAY!!!

Going dress shopping for erin was so fun..it made me more and more excited to do it for me!!!

After dress shopping..Ry's dad and stepmomma came over! stacy hadn't seen the apartment yet so I gave her the tour and she LOVED it! We went to dinner at Marietta Diner and ate way too much! haha! It was fun catching up with them! They are excited about the wedding too!

Fun wedding planning! I wish I didn't have to wait a year to get married though:-(

Happy Anniversary!!

5 years ago TODAY..me and Ry went on our first date! wow does time fly...although it seems like just yesterday...I met Ry through Heidi who was at the time dating his roomate. I met him a few times and thought he was very cute & so charming but he had a girlfriend so I never tried to pursue anything...Heidi had an apartment warming party and Ry came..we had so much fun together..I remember he was the life of the party..the jokester...everyone wanted to be around him and he made me laugh so hard everytime I was around him...after the party..he asked me out on a "date" (he had already broken up with his girlfriend by now) well it was summertime and I was living in kennesaw while he lived in Carrollton so he met me for lunch at TGI Fridays before I had to go into work at sears(yea long time ago) he gave me butterflies..and still does! This was our first picture taken together..before the "black and white" party at school. This nite we officially became "boyfriend-girlfriend" haha sounds so funny!

5 years ago!! gosh I can't believe it's been that long! we survived college together, "long distance" relationship for a while and now we live together and are ENGAGED! I'm so excited to marry him..he is my best friend and makes me so incredibly happy...I can't see my life without him!

we had a wonderful anniversary today!

I surprised Ry with an edible arrangement..that he LOVED! (the pineapples are hearts:-)

and when I got home from work..Ry had a dozen PINK roses waiting for me on our table!

aren't they soooo pretty?! they smell good too!

He also got me a gift certificate to "cocktails & Canvas'" its like a sips and strokes! I can't wait to try it!

We usually have a tradition of going to the Melting Pot for all of our anniversary dinners but we are planning on doing a triple date soon with my besties heidi and britt and all our men there..so we decided to go to our new favorite restaurant Texas Roadhouse for yummy steak!

I got an email today from DAIRY QUEEN that said..HAPPY ANNIVERSARY..buy one blizzard get on free..so that's what we did for dessert!

another weekend

Another relaxing weekend! Ry was gone all last week for work! He graduated and will soon be getting his own store...I'm so excited and proud of him!

Friday nite we were invited over to Esther & Gantt's apartment and they made brats and cheesedip! it was a nice visit!

Saturday I took Ry to the 2 wedding locations that I really like..He liked them both but was more partial to the one in Acworth because it was more "private." After that we went to lunch and just enjoyed the rest of the day..it poured after lunch so we went home and hung out on the couch!

Last nite I met Amanda at scrap nite at archivers...since we had so much fun last month we decided to make it a monthly tradition:-) it was alot of fun and I got alot done in my scrapbook..I'm almost done with my 4th year of college about to start on the 5th year (last year) I'm catching up slowly but surely. Me and amanda made a new friend at our table and she left me use some of her font stickers! Everyone is so nice..I really enjoy scrapping there because if you need something you walk into the store and buy it! Scrapping all the college memories really made me miss life at West Georgia!

Today I met up with Korby..her camera died and she wanted to buy a new one and wanted me to come along and help with her decision. We went to lunch and got her camera and had fun catching up! We went to Borders because I had a coupon and I bought this book.

this is a movie coming out soon with Julia Roberts..I'm gonna try and read it before I see the movie!

thats about it! another week..another weekend..

2 and a half weeks till chicago!! Can't wait!

Old Friends=Good Fun!

Me and Ry had a relaxing weekend..maybe a bit too relaxing because I didn't get hardly anything done..thats ok though!

Saturday evening me and Ry headed to Roswell to visit meggie and christopher at their house! It was sooooo amazing..the coolest house I've seen..they have a creek in their backyard! It was very "meggie and chris"! And I got to see Roxy..(their dog) I was there when they got her as a puppy! She's way big now and so sweet! I can't believe that she's almost 6! Time flies!! It really has..It was sooo good to get a "christopher hug" I haven't seen him in ages!! We went to dinner at a yummy Italian restaurant and caught up with each other! Meggie and Chris have been together a lil longer than me and Ry..I kept saying that they are next to get engaged!:-)

so after dinner we were driving back to their house when we realized that they live really close to our old friend Brit...so we stopped at her house randomly to say hey..but no one was home:-( but we called her and she and her new fiance met us up for ice cream! It was sooooo great to see brit again and meet her soon to be husband! we were the three muskateers together again like freshman year..only this time with our loves!

Brit and Dustin are getting married Oct of next year! Can't wait!!

That was about the most we did..haha..sunday we woke up and went to IHOP and stopped at Publix to get some stuff on sale..and then my butt stayed on the couch..for some reason I was exhausted!

Can't wait for next weekend already!

Happy 4th of July!

Me and Ry went shopping this morning to Garden Ridge to find some nice outside cushions for our outside furniture! It looks sooo good out there now!!

it's of course the print I'm obsessed with..but Ry loves it too!! now all we need out there is some greenery..I gotta get some pretty plants for the deck:-)

How was your 4th?! Ours was pretty laid back, we couldn't make any plans before hand because we weren't sure if Ry would have to go back into work..but it ended up that he didnt (yay) and so we had a little dinner to ourselves, headed to douglasville to join doodoo and maryanne and baby aubree to watch fireworks and then after went to Villa Rica to see Ry's dad and stepmom for some more fireworks! It was actually quite nice..we had alot of fun!

Saturday was Amanda's 30th Birthday!! I met her and her family at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for dinner and cake!

and I got a present too!!

Last Wed the movie Eclipse came out and I went and saw it with some friends! We saw it in IMAX and it was really good! and I made us some shirts! Thanks for the help G-ma!
