28 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along? 28 weeks

Size of baby: Iceberg Lettuce

Weight Gain: 4.6 lbs from original weight

Maternity Clothes: all maternity! tried to wear a non-maternity shirt and it was too short! ha!

Gender: It's a GIRL!!!

Movement: She's getting stronger..movements are more "real" instead of just "bubbles"

Sleep: great since I got my boppy pillow!

Symptoms: hard to get up haha

What I miss: margaritas!!!

Cravings: PB&J sandwiches!

Aversions: none really

Best moment so far: Registering was tons of fun!! planning our nursery!:-)

most stressful: taking my gluecose test..passed on second round..whew!

What I am looking forward to: my baby shower next month!!! :-)

Last weekend I went "home" to visit my girls!!! I got to see K & B's new house!! I was first houseguest! We also shopped for bridesmaid dresses!! Super excited about my dress and K & B's wedding!!
It was so great to see all my girls!!! They love my baby bump and some even got to feel her move!! Love all my best friends!!
I also got to stay with H & M!! We had a great visit! They took me to a very yummy breakfast and we shopped and got pedicures!! Great weekend!!!

Registering fun

Ry and I registered over the weekend for our baby! Holy overwhelming! We had fun but boy did we look like lost puppies in the store! We kinda knew what we need but its all the different kinds and brands that confuse you! I think we did a good job!

Christmas with the A's

A couple weeks ago we celebrated Christmas with rys family (my family too) we headed to Hoover for lunch and dinner and presents! We had a blast visiting with everyone! Like always! Pops and step monster (her nickname-not at all a monster!) got us a brand new vacuum! I have already used it and love it!!! How old am I? Getting excited about a vacuum and cleaning?! Our baby girl got lots of presents too! Lots of elephants for her nursery and new shoes! I can't wait to get her overalls to wear with the shoes! We also celebrated step monsters birthday! I made her a red velvet trifle like the one I made my dad for his birthday because her favorite cake is red velvet too! Super yummy!

Happy New Year

Happy 2013!! This year flew by..especially when I look at all we did! I have officially been a blogger for 3 years!!! This is my first blog entry! I remember where I was and what I was doing as I wrote that blog 3 years ago. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be where I am right now! within 3 years, Ry and I moved in together, got engaged, adopted a dog, got married, moved and are now expecting our first baby! all in 3 years!!! Holy cow!!! Very lucky to have had such a great 3 years and so glad I have this blog to remember. Well, after all, 3 is my lucky number!!!

we have taken down all our christmas decorations! always a depressing day:-( our house looks really empty now. It did feel good to have it all put away and organized though. Ry and I went to target yesterday and all their christmas stuff was marked down. We scored a major deal on a christmas tree! We have been using my little tree my parents bought me for my room when I lived at home. They bought it so I could hang just my ornaments on it. That tree went with me to college and has been put up so many times! As much as I love that tree, It was time for a bigger one..a new one for our growing family! and we got one yesterday for $63!!! score!! we were so excited for our awesome deal! sucks we have to wait a year to use it but it will make next year's christmas that much special.

I made this winter wreath for our front door! Super easy! I got the snowflake ornaments on an after christmas markdown sale and just hot glued them to a foam wreath! yay!

Can't believe we are going to be parents in 3 months! ahhhh
