Eight Months

 

8 months old

clothes: 12 months, some 9 months still fit but pj's are definitely 12 months.

diaper size: size 4

eating: nursing great.eating about 5-6 times a day. 

fruit baby food at lunch and veggie or meat baby food at dinner.

started the meat baby food and likes chicken noodle and turkey and rice.

has tried pieces of banana and blueberries. starting "real" people food. very soft foods.

sleep: 10-12 hours at night, wakes once in the middle of the night to nurse.

started sleeping on belly.

morning nap 1-2 hours and afternoon nap 1-2 hours

bedtime 7 pm 

sitting up in tub and takes baths every other night. loves to play with bath toys and splash in the water. Loves to play with sister's bracelets and girl toys. Need to get this boy some boy toys. everything goes in the mouth..everything!!

rolls over from back to belly a lot and can roll over belly to back but has a hard time. 

screeches a lot like a baby dinosaur and laughs so much when tickled.

Firsts: Crawled for the first time and got first tooth  on the same day. 

6 month pictures

 I took the pics to PI the other day to get professional pictures done. I did this same thing for R when she was 6 months so I wanted to keep the tradition with C. They turned out cute..R did better than I thought she would. I wish C would have smiled more but he still looks super cute!

what a transformation this is..R at 6 months and 2 years..she doesn't even look the same! cute as ever though!

Seven Months

7 months old

clothes: 9 months, some 6-9 months

diaper size: size 4

eating: nursing great.eating about 5-6 times a day. 

fruit baby food at lunch and veggie baby food at dinner. Really likes the combination baby food like blueberry/apple or sweet potato/corn

Started puffs and loves them..still practicing getting all in the mouth though. loves teething cookies.

sleep: 10-12 hours at night, occasionaly needs to nurse once during the middle of the night. 

morning nap 1-2 hours and afternoon nap 1-2 hours

bedtime 7 pm 

sleeps in crib on his side

officially sitting up with no help. super strong baby. Pulling up on things (mommy's legs) to his knees but once there doesn't know what to do. Starting to scoot on his belly but backwards. Can roll from stomach to back and back to stomach. holds toys in his hands and claps on them. plays by himself for short periods of time. enjoys his jumpy but only for a max of about 20 minutes. Still thinks sister is the greatest thing ever. He is always laughing and smiling at her..even when she's crying. He loves when she plays with him..she can get rough and he never cries. 

loves to blow bubbles with his tongue and make dinosaur noises. 

still a mama's boy..HATES when I leave the room and not a fan of strange faces unless mommy is holding him.  When I get on the floor to play with him..I have to back away because he is always pulling on me..he just wants to be held but is super squirmy.

When upset..he SCREAMS..not cry..but it's a bloody murder scream...super embarrassing when out in public.

Firsts: train ride at the zoo, trip to the pool..took a nap in his floaty.

Outings: zoo, grocery store, (haven't done too much this month)
