the main reason we came to GA for a visit was for our annual girls tradition of BYOP! (bring your own pumpkin) this was a tradition I started with my college girlfriends back in 2007! and we have kept the tradition going ever since! It's so much fun!! Originally we would get together to make caramel apples and carve pumpkins, then we added the corn maze to the day, then as we all got "older" we dropped the caramel apples...then we dropped the maze..and now we just do pumpkins! haha...as we get older..we can do less and less...yes I know..we are all still young..but not as young as we were in 2007..back then our bedtimes were 2 am and we had so much energy..now..we all are married..working and going to bed by 9! haha
but even with everyone's busy schedules...I'm sooo happy that we still do this! we all clear our busy schedules and make it a priority to get together to visit and do something fun! even me..with both our moves and having a baby..I make it a priority!
this was R's first BYOP! I'm so glad she was able to be apart of the tradition and I can't wait for all my other friends to have children and make them apart of it too!
we all got together at H's house and started carving! it's a tradition to watch the movie Hocus Pocus! our favorite! and everyone brought food to eat so we pigged out all day!
